Business Media Central Asia (BMCA) Launches New International Exhibition – Comtrux Astana

“Business Media Central Asia (BMCA) is pleased to announce the launch of Comtrux Astana – The Trade Hub for Commercial Vehicles and Road Logistics in Central Asia. Organized by BMCA under license from Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH (MFE), the inaugural edition will take place from 5 –7 may 2026 at the EXPO International Exhibition Center in Astana.

The Comtrux Astana brand is the result of a large-scale rebranding of the Komtrans + BUSexpo Astana exhibition. The project aims to elevate the commercial transport industry of Kazakhstan and Central Asia to a new level, expand its regional footprint, and attract strategic partners of global significance.

“Comtrux will become a new focal point for the region’s transport industry – a platform where innovation, technology, and global trends converge. We are confident that launching this exhibition licensed by MFE will strengthen Kazakhstan’s role as a key hub and create new opportunities for international cooperation,” said Anuar Malik, Director of BMCA Kazakhstan.

At Comtrux Astana 2026, visitors will discover the latest trucks and buses, bodies and trailers, as well as advanced navigation, telematics, and fleet management solutions. Exhibitors will showcase a wide range of spare parts, maintenance services, and vehicle customization options. A central focus will be placed on zero-emission vehicles, green technologies, and cross-border logistics services. Special focus will be placed on sustainable transport, local production development, and integration of Kazakhstani companies into global supply chains.

In 2025, the industry demonstrated strong interest in trade events: Komtrans Astana + BUSexpo Astana and Eurasian Construction Technology Astana brought together 230 companies from Kazakhstan, China, Turkey, Russia, and Uzbekistan, presenting modern solutions for the regional market. Over three days, the exhibitions hosted more than 100 B2B meetings, where participants discussed localization, joint manufacturing, and expanding partnerships. The total volume of concluded agreements and announced projects exceeded 200 million tenge.

Leveraging Messe Frankfurt’s global network, the new project will provide Kazakhstani companies with access to new markets, attract leading global manufacturers, and strengthen the country’s position as a major business hub in Central Asia.

As in 2025, Comtrux Astana 2026 will be held in parallel with Eurasian Construction Technology Astana, enhancing the synergy between the transport and construction industries on a single platform.
