The international industry exhibitions Comtrux Astana 2026 and Eurasian Construction Technology Astana 2026 have concluded at the EXPO International Exhibition Centre in Astana.
This year, the exhibitions brought together 147 exhibitors and 2,786 professional visitors from 22 countries. The total exhibition area was 8,963 m², and the business programme included 8 panel sessions with 27 speakers.
These figures confirm the growing quality of the professional audience and the business activity of visitors: more than 650 business meetings were held as part of B2B matchmaking.
A special place in the programme was given to sessions on transport, construction, production localisation, fleet digitalisation and industry communications.
One of the key topics was domestic mechanical engineering.

Maksim Slominsky, Director of the STALBAU machine-building plant, noted that the market is placing increasing importance not on simple equipment assembly, but on engineering adaptation to specific operating conditions.
“Localisation is not only about assembly. When an enterprise adapts equipment itself to a client’s task, it creates not just a product, but an engineering solution. For businesses, it is important to calculate not only the purchase price, but also the total cost of ownership: service life, downtime and equipment efficiency in real operating conditions,” said Maksim Slominsky.
The session on fleet digitalisation focused on video telematics, transport safety and the use of data in management. Participants discussed how digital tools help not only record violations, but also prevent risks in advance.
“The main task of video telematics is not to record a violation after the fact, but to prevent a risk. For a fleet, this is no longer just control, but a tool for managing safety, discipline and operational efficiency,” said Asan Tokpanov, representative of Defenium.
The Industry PR Navigator session of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan was also held. It focused on effective communications in industry, construction and transport. Participants discussed the coordination of information work, responses to challenges and practical cases of interaction between the state, business and the media.
Exhibitors also shared their results. Company representatives highlighted the high level of organisation, the quality of the professional audience and the effectiveness of the B2B matchmaking format. According to participants, the exhibition made it possible to hold useful business meetings, establish new contacts, present solutions for the commercial transport and special equipment market, and discuss specific projects with potential clients.

Kazakhstan became the first country where the new international project Comtrux, dedicated to commercial and special-purpose transport, logistics and infrastructure solutions, was launched under licence from Messe Frankfurt. At the same venue, Eurasian Construction Technology Astana 2026 was held in parallel, covering construction, road construction and special equipment, machinery and engineering solutions.
Representatives of government bodies, industry associations and the diplomatic corps took part in the opening ceremony and business programme. The exhibitions also featured the national pavilions of China and Uzbekistan.
